Termius: Cross-Platform SSH Client for Remote Server Administration

Termius is an SSH client developed by Termius Corporation, aimed at administrators and engineers who manage remote servers. On iOS, it connects over SSH, SFTP, Mosh, Telnet, port forwarding, and serial, and supports routing through proxies and jump servers. Saved connections allow sessions to start with a single tap, removing the need to re-enter IP addresses, ports, and passwords.

Terminal Input and Session Handling

The app provides a virtual keyboard with the special keys required for shell work, and a Bluetooth keyboard can be connected as an alternative. Gestures or a device shake emulate keys such as Tab, the arrow keys, PgUp and PgDn, Home, and End. Several sessions can run at once in a multi-tab interface with split-view support. Terminal themes and fonts can be set separately for each connection, and custom environment variables are supported.

Command Automation and Autocomplete

• Saved commands and scripts: Frequently used commands and shell scripts can be stored and run with one tap, on a single session or on several servers at once.
• Autocomplete: Suggestions cover commands, paths, and history, and a global history of terminal commands is accessible.
• AI assistance: Plain-language descriptions can be converted into shell commands.

Authentication and Security

Termius supports hardware FIDO2 keys for authentication. SSH keys can be generated in the Secure Enclave, and each connection can be confirmed with Face ID or Touch ID. The account can be protected with two-factor authentication. The free Starter plan is ad-free.

Pro Plan Features

The Pro plan adds an encrypted cloud vault that gives access to connection settings and credentials from any device, along with synchronization across desktop and mobile devices. Session logs can be bookmarked with notes in the vault. Integrations with AWS, DigitalOcean, and Azure are also available.
